Here's a case of a movie that keeps your attention by alluding to a secret... and then half-way through the movie when the lame secret is revealed, there's nothing to keep you interested... unless you like scenes of estranged families and excessively unnecessary violence. Although the movie is supposed to be creepy, nothing in the main feature came close to the creepiness of seeing Viggo Mortensen repeatedly kiss director David Cronenberg on the lips in the extras part of the DVD.
