Michael Behe is a leading design theorist. He is most well known for his book Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution which introduced the concept of irreducible complexity. His argument is that irreducible complexity is a sign of intelligence and since certain elements of biological life exhibit irreducible complexity (at the biochemical level), therefore those elements must have been designed. His favorite example of this is the bacterial flagella... although he also goes into detail on other systems in his book like the blood clotting cascade, the human eye, and the immune system.
