Florida Pie

Crust
- 40 Ritz crackers - crushed fine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts – chopped
- Mix together and set aside.
- Beat 6 egg whites until stiff.
- Gradually add 1 cup white sugar, then add 1 tsp. vanilla.
- Fold into above crumb mixture.
- Spread into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350.
- Cool.

Filling
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs - beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Combine first 3 ingredients.
- Add beaten eggs.
- Blend all ingredients at high speed until creamy and smooth.
- Add vanilla.
- Spread over cooled meringue crust.

Topping
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 6 T. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Whip cream until stiff.
- Add sugar and vanilla.
- Spread on chocolate filling and garnish with chocolate curls.
- Chill several hours or overnight.
- Keep refrigerated.
