William A. Dembski

From Summa Bergania

William Dembski has impressed me as the most lucid and comprehensive design theorist. His first book on the subject, The Design Inference was a scholarly mathematical/philosophical book describing the concept of specified complexity. This original work had nothing to do with the question of detecting design in life, so some of his subsequent works have been the bridge linking his thoughts to organic matter.

The Design Revolution is the best introductory book to intelligent design that I know of. In 44 chapters it addresses 44 of ID's toughest challenges in clear and simple terms. Dembski and I shared correspondance over understanding a couple of the chapters in this book.
